We will work systematically presenting options and evaluating these objectively in collaboration with the client.
Calculations & Analysis
We carry out hand calculations from first principles as a starting point, and will carry out computer simulation using tools such as Grasshopper and Surface Evolver. At this time we do not offer a Finite Element Analysis capability, though we have close contacts that we could bring on board to supply this.
Proof of Concept
With a mechanical design development we would typically have a verification prototype as an end goal. This would demonstrate the key functionality and allow physical testing to be carried out.
